How did your passion for travel get started?
My passion for travel started when I visited with my grandmother’s village in Honduras. It is a tiny town and it was an amazing place to be immersed in language and culture, and texture to attached to my roots. The experience put my own wanderlust ablaze, and I spent nearly every moment traveling vicariously by others, or dreaming of my next trip when I returned.
How are you currently traveling in any given calendar year? What are the types of places you like to visit?
Wow, great question! I spend at least half the year abroad, and also for the previous 3 years I’ve predicted the Caribbean my house. I feel especially at home in the Caribbean and Central America and love tropical destinations. I really love Western Europe, and spent a year teaching English in France once I graduated college!
What do you want viewers learn and to get from the job?
My job is to inspire girls to learn more about the planet religiously and participate with the culture as they travel. My blog goes past wanderlust and inspiration — I provide tons of how-to’s guides, and recommendations to help individuals together .
This is rough one! In no particular order, I would say France, Italy, along with Anguilla. They are magic in their very own way!
You grew up in Los Angeles.
Why is L.A. an enjoyable and fascinating place to visit and what tips would you give somebody who wants to visit the city?
LA is a place that is fun and fascinating if you’re a fan of movies and music! It is not uncommon to run into a star shopping in the grocery shop or while building a java run. Especially in the West Hollywood, Silverlake and Larchmont regions. My suggestion for a person who wants an star sighting while on holiday is to take the TMZ Tour. It might sound corny but it’s actually a great deal of fun! And you can encounter stars like Mariah Carey or even Lisa Vanderpump.
How many nations have you visited up to now?
25 countries and counting!
You have also lived in Spain and operated in France, in addition to seeing nations. What are a few of your favorite experiences in both of these nations?
In Spain I was based in Barcelona, and this was an awesome lifetime experience. The food is amazing, and the combination of Spanish and Spanish Castilian culture is intriguing. Back in France I taught the eager and adorable children English. It ended up being a lot of pleasure being a representative of the United States. Plus they taught me so much in return! lol
What are the top 3 favorite perfumes?
Bajan (from Barbados,) Italian and French!
What is your favorite restaurant on the planet? What dish would you advocate?
A restaurant is at Los Angeles and I really like it! If you proceed, you have to try out the Truffle Burger!
What is your favorite travel movie?
Speaking of Hollywood and films, you have had the opportunity to rub elbows with amusement royalty at awards shows and film premieres. You were also an intern in a prominent entertainment PR company. What have you heard that you have since applied to a career in travel?
I can’t count how many times I have seen it!
What is your international airport?
It actually taught me the way to interact with unique people. Being around actors so often made me realize once I understood that it was humbling, and that they are human just like you and I. I have met some people traveling that were much more intriguing than a number of the most well-known men and women in the world.
Which city had the friendliest people?
I love landing in Charles De Gaulle airport in Paris.
Not that it is a airport, however the feeling of enthusiasm and nostalgia I’ve gets me each moment when I arrive.
What is the most exotic location you have been taken by your livelihood?
Friendliness is at the eye of this beholder. I can’t really choose a city because I don’t travel with really substantial expectations of people.
What is your best bit of travel suggestions for a person who wants to, or is about to, embark on a lifetime of travel?
It. It is a gorgeous island that I believe everyone should visit at least once!
What are 4 things you can never travel without?
Make sure you have everything important in order until you hit on the road! Always have a plan B, but go with a open mind and a complete heart! And last but not least, don’t miss your flight!
What is your ultimate dream destination?
I could never travel with no phone, journal camera and passport!
Saint Vincent and the Grenadines!
